NAD⁺ therapy

NAD⁺ is a coenzyme produced by the body that plays a central role in the energy metabolism of cells. It can be administered as an infusion.

NAD⁺ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in all living cells and involved in numerous metabolic processes. NAD⁺ levels decline with age; they can be raised again through supplementation. NAD⁺ levels decrease, among other things, with age, with exhaustion, during or after infections, and in stressful situations such as acute injuries or operations. NAD⁺ plays a role in oxidative stress, immune function, the viability of cells (including in neurodegenerative diseases) and energy metabolism. NAD⁺ treatment slowly raises the NAD⁺ level in the body.

How long does a NAD⁺ infusion take?

Administering an infusion of 500 or 1000 mg NAD⁺ takes roughly 90 to 180 minutes, depending on tolerance.

How many infusions do I need?

The first infusion contains 500 mg NAD⁺. Each further infusion can be increased to 1000 mg. An average course of treatment usually comprises two to three infusions.

Side effects

The intensity of any side effects is related to the drip rate — the infusion is therefore administered slowly and adjusted individually.
