Infusion therapy

Many micronutrients can also be administered intravenously. Delivered via the vein they are optimally absorbed and intestinal absorption problems are bypassed — with pronounced deficiencies this works faster and more intensively. In a calm setting, you supply your body specifically with vitamins, trace elements and minerals.

Iron infusions

Iron is a vital component of the body and plays a central role in oxygen supply, energy production and physical performance. Even a mild iron deficiency can affect daily well-being and lead to a variety of complaints. Iron stores cannot always be replenished sufficiently through diet or tablets — especially with pronounced deficiency, poor tolerance of iron supplements or increased need, an iron infusion can be an effective way to replenish the stores in a targeted manner. Complaints such as tiredness, reduced performance or hair loss can already occur at ferritin levels below 80 ng/ml.

Possible signs of iron deficiency

  • Tiredness and exhaustion
  • Reduced performance
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • Shortness of breath on exertion
  • Dizziness
  • Headaches
  • Hair loss
  • Brittle nails
  • Pale skin
  • Restless legs syndrome
  • Increased susceptibility to infections

Benefits of an iron infusion

  • Direct uptake of iron via the vein
  • Rapid replenishment of iron stores
  • Bypasses the gastrointestinal tract
  • No typical gastrointestinal complaints such as nausea or constipation
  • Individual dosing based on your lab values
  • Short treatment time

Who are iron infusions suitable for?

Iron infusions can be particularly useful with:

  • confirmed iron deficiency
  • iron deficiency despite taking tablets
  • intolerance of iron supplements
  • heavy menstruation
  • a vegetarian or vegan diet
  • increased need due to sport
  • chronic exhaustion
  • recurrent hair loss

Immune-support infusion

Our immune system protects the body against viruses and bacteria that can cause infections and illness. Especially during periods of stress, with allergies or at times of increased infection risk, an adequate supply of vitamins and trace elements matters. This infusion contains high-dose vitamin C combined with zinc and amino acids to support the body's own defences and reduce oxidative stress — both to strengthen the defences and alongside acute infections.

Glutathione infusions

Glutathione is one of the most important antioxidants and plays a central role in protecting cells from oxidative stress and in detoxification processes. Under increased strain from stress, illness or environmental factors, the body's own production can be insufficient. Glutathione infusions allow the high-dose administration of S-acetyl-glutathione, which remains stable in the blood longer than conventional reduced glutathione. Before starting, the intracellular glutathione level can be determined via a blood test to define the individually required dose. Around 3 to 6 g of S-acetyl-glutathione are administered per infusion as needed.

Glutathione is used with

  • chronic fatigue
  • post-viral fatigue (e.g. COVID fatigue)
  • tumour fatigue
  • burn-out
  • mitochondrial disorders
  • degenerative nerve diseases
  • chronic inflammatory reactions
  • cardiovascular diseases
  • health prevention / anti-ageing

Infusion for exhaustion and burn-out

With persistent physical or mental exhaustion, a targeted supply of micronutrients can have a supporting effect. Infusions with selected minerals, trace elements and vitamin C can help to strengthen the body and promote recovery.

Anti-ageing infusion

Individually composed infusions supply the body with important vitamins and minerals. These can support collagen synthesis, contribute to improved skin structure and promote the growth of healthy hair. At the same time they can strengthen the immune system and support general well-being.
